High Speed Chase leads to MVA in Gilford

Around nine oclock sunday night gilford police attempted to stop a vehicle for running a red light. The vehicle sped off at speeds around 100 MPH. Gilford police followed the vehicle, which ended when the vehicle left the road, and hit a tree head on. Gilford fire was toned to the scene, 8A1 along with rescue1  responded,but no Pts were found
Gilfords Tanker works four alarms in sanbornton

Around 1900 hours saturday evening, crews from around the lakes region were toned to a reported building fire in sanbornton. First responding crews had heavy black smoke showing while enroute, and requested a first alarm. Crews found a large barn attached to the home well involved, and went to a second alarm. Gilfords tanker 1 was called into the scene for water and assisted with water supply. Crews streched a 2 1/2 line through the front door of the house and  were able  to keep the fire in check. The barn was a total loss, but crews were able to keep the fire from spreading to the house. A third and fourth alarm were called four, to bring more water to the scene, and relieve crews working on the scene. The fire was reported under control in about an hour. While tanker 1 was working the fire in sanbornton, gilford crews were toned to a reported motor vehicle accident on old lakeshore road. Crews found a two car MVA with injuries, and transported one to LRGH.
Group four works two motorcycle accidents

Around 1400 Gilford fire was toned to a report of a motorcycle accident with an unconscious person on the side of the road. 8A1, responded along with Rescue 1, crews found a male pt face down in the ditch, and went to work treating the pt. 8E4 responded and set up blocking for the crews working on the pt. The pt sustained facial injuries, and maine med flight was requested do to the pts injuries. While crews were clearing the first call, another call came in for a report of another motorcycle accident, with serious injuries. Rescue 1 responded, and found a female pt trauma code. Rescue 1 along with 13E5 from laconia went to work  treating the pt. Gilfords A1 along with engine 4 responded to assist, but the pt was pronounced dead at the scene.
MVA with people trapped

Around 1830 firday night gilford crews were toned to gilford ave and maple st for a motor vehicle accident with people trapped. Ambulance 1 and 2 along with rescue 1 responded, and found a two car accident with people trapped in one vehicle. Crews went to work on both vehicles and extricated the pts within fifteen minutes. Engines 2 and 4 responded, and set up for road blocking, and extricating. A total of three pts were transported to LRGH. Laconias engine 1 covered gilford.

Engine 2 works another building fire in laconia

On august 20th around 1930 in the evening, laconia and gilford companies were toned to a reported building fire in a three story building on messer st. first crews on the scene reported smoke showing from the roof, and struck a working fire. All hands went to work and located the fire in the attic space. Gilfords engine 2 took the hydrant at the end of the street, and supplied laconias engine. the fire was under control in about fourty minutes, and engine 2 returned home soon after that, only to run a MVA roll over a short time later, and med calls throughout the night.
